I guess the location had changed and now it is quite bigger than before but it is very close to the main road. Thus, not very fan of that. The dishes we had was absolutely amazing and tasty. The duck meat was brilliant cooked and served! The service was also fantastic. Definitely a place to visit again!

They serve the best tofu you may have had in Mannheim. To our surprise they also have a couple of vegan options. Each dish offered a wonderful blast of flavors (the dishes we tried weren't spicy). It's not a big place but the ambiance has these nice sky lanterns hanging over the ceiling. Staff is a little absent minded but I won't reduce any stars for it as they are friendly. Recommended to try at least once.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Mannheim - or at least, one of my favourite. You may smile when you read about “Argentinian beef” in the menu, but actually the taste is very similar to the best Vietnamese food. I appreciated especially the entrees as a taster plate for two (photo #4), and I took a papaya green salad with chicken wings (photo #1); I had fresher papaya green salads but it was an interesting twist on the typical street food. The beef stripes on rice noodles (#3) was my favourite. I also loved the coconut soda drink “Panda”, it was greenish with a very interesting taste and very refreshing. I am going to seek this drink again :-)

First visit here and I got no rights to complain at all. It is quite the authentic restaurant which I always enjoy. There is enough variety for everyone, even vegetarians and my food as well as my tea were both very good with big portions! Can recommend.

The salmon dish is great: salmon really well good and flavourful. Only went for 4 star because the other bits of the dish (salad, rice, sauce) were okay. Good Viet/Laotian spot if you’re in Mannheim

A Hidden Gem at the Rosengarten – Mémoires d’Indochine What a delightful experience! From the moment you step into Mémoires d’Indochine, you’re welcomed by a warm, modern interior filled with charming wooden textures, creative lighting, and little thoughtful details like fresh roses on each table. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant – ideal for a relaxed lunch or an atmospheric dinner. Drinks & Vibes: We kicked things off with an ice-cold Beerlao, a refreshing Southeast Asian brew that set the tone for an authentic experience. It’s rare to find this beer in Europe – a real treat! Starters & Main Courses: The deep-fried prawns were perfectly golden and crispy, paired with a tangy sauce and fresh garnish. We then enjoyed a wonderfully fresh vermicelli bowl with herbs, pickled vegetables, peanuts, and grilled meat – light yet full of flavor. The Pad Thai was also a highlight: beautifully balanced, with crunchy vegetables, soft noodles, and just the right hint of spice and lime. Verdict: Mémoires d’Indochine is more than just a meal – it’s a short trip to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, right in the heart of Mannheim. The attention to detail in both food and atmosphere makes this place a must-visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great spot for some fast but tasty Vietnamese food. We stopped in here exhausted after a flight and the food was tatsächlich and came very quickly. It’s a casual spot with some outdoor seating with a nice view. Lots of vegan options for those who choose them.
